We charge $170 for a four-point inspection within 15-miles of our location in the Ocala/The Villages area and less than 2200 square feet, and a combo four-point and wind mitigation is only $240.
The four-point inspection is required by insurors in Florida for homes over 30 years old, and some companies require one for even newer homes. It is a limited inspection that evaluates the condition of four major components of a home: roof, electrical, plumbing, and heating/air-conditioning.
The purpose is to give the insuror a clear picture of the condition of a home, particularly any older components as they relate to the possibility of future claims.
